In addition to our academic year program LPS offers structured short-term stay programs to international students. Because many boarding schools close during Thanksgiving, winter and spring vacations and because many international students are unable to fly home, LPS offers an opportunity for students to use this time productively.

Students will stay in our picturesque facility where they will be supported by educators, tutors, guardians and resident assistants. Students can choose to stay with us for two nights to two weeks and we will structure an individualized schedule for them that may include SSAT or SAT preparation, music lessons, English classes, and individual academic subject tutoring. For students working on school applications, we offer essay assistance and organized visits to local colleges, universities and private secondary schools. Additionally, we schedule excursions to nearby museums, malls and movie theaters.

Our drivers will pick up the students on their regular school campus and return them at the end of their program. Each student is provided his or her own room equipped with a half bathroom in addition to three gourmet meals in our cafeteria staffed by professional chefs. Younger students will be placed with a roommate if requested. Our campus is monitored by a 24 hour security system and we strictly enforce our policies and rules to ensure the safety of our young visitors.
